Firm History
Goolsby and Associates, LLC was founded in 1998 to provide geological consulting services to the petroleum and extractive mineral industries. The firm was built on practical experience and a comprehensive understanding of exploration and development within the oil, gas, and mineral sectors.
In 2000, the firm became Goolsby, Finley and Associates, LLC, continuing and expanding its geological consulting work throughout the region.
In 2020, Goolsby, Finley and Associates joined with TCF Services to establish Encompass Energy Consulting, LLC, bringing geology and engineering expertise together within an integrated consulting firm.
Finley, Sebade and Associates, LLC was established in 2026, carrying forward the geological experience, regional knowledge, and professional relationships developed through Goolsby, Finley and Associates.
